We spent 9 days between Salt Lake City and St. George. Lots of grandparent loves, including LDS Conference with crepes and cousins. Spent evenings and afternoons with much-missed friends. We brought our bikes, spent time hiking, swimming and even bowling. Prepare yourself for photo overload with a few organizational highlights in between.
The Little Man with his great, great, great, great, great grandfather (and said grandfather's chair).
Mom & Dad McKinnon sold their St. George home and bought another one 3 doors down. It's bigger, has a fantastic backyard and keeps the lovely view I fell in love with 5 years ago.
#1 - Hiking Our Favorite Slot Canyon
Turns out one of our favorite families from Eagle (the Eliasons) were in St. George at the same time as us! So of course we had to get together for a few favorite activities.
#2 - Scout Caves
One of our cherished arch hikes was closed for reforestation. So we took the path less traveled by (and longer - 4 miles!) to explore the Scout Caves. They were amazing! I thought them very similar to Solomon's Pillars in Israel. Definitely a repeat visit is needed.
#3 - Biking
Of course we went biking. We're McKinnons. And I don't know what's been up with us flexing in all our pictures lately, but here we are.
And then the very funny seesaw of uncomfortablness that the kids just kept enduring...
